1. Booking Confirmation

Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit (20- 30% total amount of booking). The balance will be collected upon Vietnam arrival.
A confirmation email or document will be sent to the customer, detailing the itinerary and any other relevant information.

2. Deposit and Payment

A non-refundable deposit (20% of total cost) is required to secure the booking. It will be done via bank transfer or by credit card
Payments may be made via credit card, bank transfer, or by cash

3. Cancellation Policy

Customer-Initiated Cancellation:
Cancellation fees are often charged based on how close the cancellation is to the departure date (e.g., 50% if canceled 30 days prior, 100% if canceled 7 days or less). All flight bookings will be not refundable
Deposits are usually non-refundable.
Operator-Initiated Cancellation:
If Vietnam story cancels the tour, a full refund or alternative travel arrangements are provided.

4. Changes to Itinerary

The Vietnam Story reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, safety, etc.).
Significant changes (e.g., a change in destination or dates) will be communicated to the customer as soon as possible.

5. Travel Insurance

Customers are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance to cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, lost luggage, and other potential issues.

6. Liability

Vietnam Story is not liable for any personal injury, illness, accident, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the trip.
Vietnam Story is also not responsible for any costs resulting from delays, natural disasters, or political unrest.

7. Passports, Visas, and Health Requirements

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have a valid passport, visa, and any necessary health documentation (vaccinations, tests) for travel.
Vietnam Story may provide guidance, but the customer is solely responsible for meeting these requirements.

8. Group Size

Some tours may have a minimum and maximum group size.
If the minimum group size is not met, the tour may be canceled or adjusted.

9. Special Requests

Any special requests (dietary needs, accommodation preferences) must be communicated at the time of booking.
Vietnam Story will do its best to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee them.

10. Refunds and Adjustments

Refunds are typically not provided for unused portions of the tour (e.g., skipping a meal or excursion).
Any disputes over services or costs must be raised immediately with the tour guide or representative during the tour.

11. Force Majeure

The operator is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to “force majeure” events such as natural disasters, acts of war, pandemics, or government restrictions.

12. Health and Safety

The customer is responsible for informing the operator of any pre-existing medical conditions.
Some tours may require a certain level of physical fitness. The operator may decline participation if safety is a concern.
