Nui Than Tai works best as a full-day Da Nang outing when your group wants both hot-spring relaxation and a water park. The standard 2026 adult ticket is 490,000 VND and already includes the main mineral-spring areas, Japanese-style Onsen, sauna facilities, water park, lazy river, Jura Park and 9D–12D cinema. Mud baths, massage and meal packages cost extra, so choose the package by what you will actually use rather than buying the most expensive bundle by default.
Nui Than Tai ticket prices in 2026
| 2026 option | Published adult price | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Standard ticket | 490,000 VND | Most first-time visitors who want hot springs + water park without extra treatments. |
| After-14:00 ticket | 390,000 VND | Travellers with only an afternoon, provided 3–3.5 hours is enough for their priorities. |
| Nạp Khí | 670,000 VND | Visitors who specifically want the mud-bath experience as well as standard entry. |
| Tích Lộc | 755,000 VND | Visitors who want standard entry plus lunch. |
Children are priced by height rather than age: under 1 m free, 1 m to under 1.4 m at 50% of the adult rate, and 1.4 m or taller at the adult rate. Packages and promotions can change, so confirm the rate for your actual visit date before paying.
What does the standard 490,000 VND ticket include?
The useful point for planning is that the base ticket is already broad. The 2026 published inclusions cover:
- hot mineral bathing at Huyet Long Lake and other included pools;
- Japanese-style Onsen experience;
- hot and cold Jacuzzi areas;
- Himalayan salt-rock sauna plus dry and wet sauna facilities;
- water park and lazy river;
- Jura Park / dinosaur park;
- 9D–12D cinema;
- Temple of the God of Fortune and other included park areas.
You do not need to buy a mud-bath or massage package to use the core hot-spring and water-park facilities. That distinction matters for families: the standard ticket can already fill most of a day.
What costs extra?
Mud baths, themed baths, massage, some food packages and accommodation are separate from standard entry. In 2026, the park lists a mud bath at 200,000 VND per guest with a minimum of two guests per tub; using a tub alone carries an additional charge. Other themed baths and spa treatments have their own prices.
If the only upgrade you want is mud bathing, compare the total with the Nạp Khí package rather than buying services one by one. If lunch convenience matters more, compare the Tích Lộc package. There is little value in paying for treatments your children or other family members will not use.
What is the Onsen experience like?
Nui Than Tai presents an Onsen-style bathing area as part of its standard experience. Treat it as the park’s Vietnamese resort interpretation of Japanese hot-spring culture, rather than promising an exact replica of every traditional Japanese onsen custom.
Follow the changing, showering and bathing instructions posted on site on the day you visit. Rules for swimwear, towels and access can differ between specific pools or service areas, so current staff guidance is more reliable than an old blog checklist.
Is Nui Than Tai good for families?
It can work particularly well for families whose age groups want different things from the same day. Children may spend more time at the water park and Jura Park, while adults can prioritise mineral pools, Onsen or sauna areas. The trade-off is that a large park can split the family into different zones, so agree meeting points and timing rather than trying to move everyone through every attraction together.
For multi-generational groups, do not describe hot mineral water as a medical treatment or assume it is suitable for every health condition. Use the facilities for recreation and relaxation, follow posted safety limits, and let anyone with a relevant medical concern check what is appropriate for them before prolonged hot-water or sauna use.
How much time should you allow?
| Time available | What fits realistically | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| After 14:00 | Choose two or three priorities: for example water park + mineral pools + Onsen. | Travellers who already have a morning plan and accept a shorter visit. |
| 5–7 hours | Standard park experience at a comfortable pace, with lunch and breaks. | Most first-time families. |
| Full opening day | More time for water park, hot springs, park attractions and a paid treatment if booked. | Visitors making Nui Than Tai the day’s main activity. |
The park is currently advertised as open 08:30–17:30 daily. Arriving early gives you the best chance to use both the water and wellness areas without turning the final hour into a rush.
Should you combine Nui Than Tai with Ba Na Hills?
We would normally keep them on separate days. They sit in the same broader mountainous area west of Da Nang, but that does not make them an efficient same-day pair. Ba Na Hills works best as a full-day mountain attraction, while Nui Than Tai needs several hours if you want the water park and hot springs to justify the ticket.
Combining both often means paying two substantial entrance fees while leaving each attraction early. If you only have one free day, choose by trip style: Ba Na Hills for Golden Bridge and theme-park sightseeing; Nui Than Tai for pools, water play and slower family time.
How do you get to Nui Than Tai from Da Nang?
The park’s current official address is Phu Tuc village, Hoa Vang commune, Da Nang, in the hills west of the city. From central Da Nang, a car journey is typically around 45–60 minutes depending on your hotel, traffic and road conditions.
- Private car: the simplest option for families, especially when you want a fixed pickup for the return journey.
- Taxi / ride-hailing: workable, but do not rely on an old fixed fare from a blog; check the app or meter at the time you travel.
- Self-driving: only consider this if your licence and insurance are valid in Vietnam and you are comfortable with the route.
For the wider itinerary, our Da Nang tour routes for Indian travellers help decide whether a full park day fits better than another Central Vietnam day trip.
What should you pack?
- swimwear suitable for the park areas you plan to use;
- a dry change of clothes;
- water-resistant footwear or sandals with grip for wet areas;
- sunscreen and sun protection for outdoor zones;
- a waterproof pouch for your phone if you plan to use it around pools;
- any personal toiletries or medications you normally need for a full day out.
Use lockers for valuables and confirm the day’s towel or locker arrangements at the park rather than assuming an older rental policy is still current.
What about vegetarian or Jain food?
Meal packages are convenient, but a Vietnamese buffet should not automatically be treated as suitable for a strict vegetarian or Jain diet. If your requirements exclude onion, garlic, egg, fish sauce, meat stock or shared preparation, confirm the menu before choosing a lunch package.
For strict dietary needs, carry a backup snack and plan your main Indian meal back in Da Nang if the park cannot confirm a suitable option. Our Indian restaurants in Da Nang guide can help with the evening meal after you return.
Is Nui Than Tai Hot Springs worth it?
Yes for families or couples who genuinely want a pool-and-hot-spring day. The standard ticket has enough included activities to justify several hours. It is less compelling if your Central Vietnam itinerary is short and your priorities are cultural sightseeing, Hoi An, Hue or Ba Na Hills.
The best decision is to treat Nui Than Tai as a day style, not as another attraction to squeeze into a checklist: choose it when your trip needs a slower recreational day between more active sightseeing days.

Is the Onsen included in the standard ticket?
Yes. The 2026 standard-ticket inclusions list the Japanese-style Onsen along with mineral bathing, Jacuzzi, sauna, water park, lazy river, Jura Park and cinema.
Is the mud bath included?
No. Mud bathing is a paid upgrade. The park lists it at 200,000 VND per guest with a two-person minimum per tub, or you can compare a package that already includes it.
Can I visit Nui Than Tai and Ba Na Hills on the same day?
It is physically possible to move between the two areas, but we do not recommend planning both as full experiences on the same day. Each works better with several hours of its own, so combining them usually creates a rushed and expensive day.
