A 7-day Vietnam route from Hanoi to Phu Quoc combines multiple regions, so usable sightseeing time matters more than headline stop count. Check the domestic transfers, the actual Phu Quoc nights and any weather-sensitive island or snorkeling day before comparing the itinerary.

This 7-day journey connects Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Central Vietnam and Phu Quoc, so the main planning challenge is transfer load rather than the number of attractions on the list.

Begin in Hanoi with heritage stops such as the Temple of Literature and Hoa Lo Prison, then continue to Ha Long Bay for the cruise sector. In Central Vietnam, the route uses Da Nang / Hoi An highlights such as the Marble Mountains, Hoi An Ancient Town and Ba Na Hills according to the final itinerary.

Phu Quoc is the final island block. If the itinerary includes a southern-island boat day, stops such as May Rut, Mong Tay or Gam Ghi should be treated as weather- and sea-condition dependent. We would not promise clear water or one fixed reef stop before the operator checks the conditions on the day.

Booked 2, 2 day private tours and money was well spent. Private tours means you can where possible avoid crowds and gain entry and exit quicker. Hai and Lun who we had for both days were professional and very prompt. They also could read when our energy was getting low and adapted the tour to our needs. Also understood when to chat and not as we spent a few hours travel time in car. If you’re wanting to explore Hanoi and the outer areas of Hanoi spend the extra money and book through this company. We have done a private tour going to: HOA LU TEMPLE - MUA CAVE - TRANG AN Miami was our lovely tour guide. Her English was excellent and clear. She hosting us in the perfect possible way. We had a late arrival the day before and left us to rest during the 2,5 hour drive. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1HANOI ARRIVAL – HANOI HALF DAY CITY TOUR

Morning:

When you arrive at Noi Bai Airport, our driver will meet you and take you to the hotel. Early check- in is not included. Take a rest.

Afternoon:

13:00 – 13:30 Start the trip to visit Temple of Literature – where is onsidered the first university of Vietnam. This is also a famous historical relic of Hanoi and offers the cultural quintessence values of different periods. Here, you will have a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history of development from the early days.

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton.

Come back to hotel and enjoy Hanoi night life.

Day 2HANOI – HA LONG BAY DAY TRIP (B/L)

8.15-8.50: Get picked up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater/ Opera House to depart Halong Bay

Our journey follows Hanoi – Haiphong- Tuan Chau Highway (about a2.5-hour drive

12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, get on the boat to start the excursion discovering the beauty of the world heritage site.

12:30: Enjoy set menu lunch on the boat with many special dishes of Halong. While having lunch, you all can see the beautiful scenery on both sides with thousands of limestone such as Fighting Chicken and Incense Buner Islets – 2 symbols of Halong Bay

14.00: Arrive at Bo Hon Island, and you will visit Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave with a lot of stalagmites and stalactites

14.45: Do kayaking or bamboo boat through Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.

15.15: Visit TiTop Island with its sandy beach. You can go swimming here or trek up to the top of the island for sightseeing all of Halong bay

16.00: Back to the boat for the sunset party (some wine, fruits, and biscuits) meanwhile the boat is cruising back to the harbor.

17.45: Arrive back at the harbor. Get on car and come back hotel in Hanoi

Day 3Hanoi flight to Danang - Mable Mountain - lovely Hoian ancient town (B/D)

Morning:

After breakfast, enjoy your free time in Hanoi until get on car and transfer to airport to take flight to Danang

Upon Danang arrival, transfer to hotel (early check-in is not included). Take a rest

Afternoon.

1:30 – 2:00PM: Driver and tour guide will collect you from your hotel in Danang and move to Marble Mountains.

Discovery the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevat:r is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were made in the 19th century by the last dynasty of the Vietnam monarchy, and visit Huyền Không or Tàng Chơn Caves. After that stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Da Nang.

3.00PM After leaving Marble Mountains, we’ll visit Hoi An Ancient Town, where we’ll explore its enchanting streets, visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall for ancestor worship, explore well-preserved old houses like Phung Hung and Tan Ky. Visit the Japanese Bridge, a 400-year-old bridge connecting Japanese and Chinese communities.

Enjoy dinner with Hoi An specialty foods.

6 PM: Experience a boat journey on the Hoai River, where you can release flower lantern for good fortune, explore Lantern Street, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Hoi An’s night market.

7.30PM: Drop you off at your hotel in Da Nang.

Day 4BANA HILL – GOLDEN BRIDGE (B/L)

After have breakfast at hotel, we pick you up at the hotel and start to visit Ba Na Hills – also known as the second DaLat in Central Vietnam.

09:30 You will be carried to the peak by cable car system that won 4 World’s Records (longest one-wire sling; the longest distance between each station; the longest unpatched wire; and finally the heaviest cable roll), admire the epic view and enjoy the fresh air here.

10:00 Explore Golden bridge, sits 1,400 meters above sea level, an altitude which creates the illusion of a silk strip hiding in the clouds above Da Nang. Walking around and taking photos at Le Jardin D’Amour (the Flower Garden of Love), Linh Ung Pagoda, with 27m – height Shakyamuni statue on 6m – height lotus brings tourists peaceful feeling as visiting this place. Enjoy the panorama of Da Nang city.

The next destination of your trip in Ba Na is French Village.

In the afternoon, you can experience many thrilling rides and games such as slide-way, love wheel, fire race and ghosts’ house in Fantasy Park – the world-class indoor amusement park. Join in Fantasy Park by Walking in Fairy Forest, discovering Dinosaur Park, playing 5D wild west, enjoying 4D death race ride, watch 3D mega 360 degrees…

15:30 – 16:00 We say good bye to Ba Na.

Come back the hotel and overnight in Danang.

Day 5DANANG FREE AND EASY - FLIGHT TO PHU QUOC (B)

Day 6PHU QUOC 3 ISLAND TOUR (B/L)

08:15 – 08:30:Pick up at the lobby of your hotel in the center of Duong Dong town (from Phu Quoc night market, along Tran Hung Dao Street to Eden Resort). Arrive at An Thoi harbor – board on speed boatVisit 3 islands in the south:
- Xuong Island: Snorkeling at the coral reef
- Gam Ghi Island: Snorkeling at the coral reef – Enjoy the beach
- May Rut Trong Island:Lunch on the island and island exploring, white sand lagoon – unique chillout

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .

Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
