How Vinpearl Safari is structured
The daytime visit has two different parts, and that distinction helps with pacing:
- Open Zoo: a walking area with animal exhibits, so allow time for heat, shade, children’s pace and rest stops.
- Safari Park: the drive-through bus section where visitors stay inside the vehicle while animals move through larger controlled habitats. Protect enough time for this part instead of leaving it until the end of the visit.
The two sections are not interchangeable: one is mainly a walking zoo experience, while the other is the bus-based safari format people usually have in mind when searching for Vinpearl Safari.
Ticket price and what to verify before buying
Ticket-price check — October 2026: VinWonders’ own official pages currently disagree. The live Safari Price & Regulations page shows 950,000 VND for guests from 140 cm and 710,000 VND for guests from 100 cm to under 140 cm and seniors, while the January 2026 price-adjustment notice still shows 850,000 / 650,000 VND.
Because both official figures remain live, we would not present either pair as a guaranteed walk-up price. Use the current booking checkout for your actual visit date as the final amount, and treat any price quoted here as a planning reference only.

What the standard ticket is for
The standard ticket is the daytime Safari product. Night Safari and special experience products are separate decisions and can use different prices or schedules. If you only need the daytime animal-park experience, do not compare it against every bundled product on the booking page.
Where to verify the current ticket
Check the official booking flow close to payment. Promotions can alter the checkout price, while older official articles may remain indexed after a pricing change. For a VinWonders + Safari combination, compare the current one-day and two-day options against your actual pace rather than choosing the combo only because it looks cheaper per attraction.
Who the Safari suits
Families with children
The Safari works well when animal viewing is a genuine family priority and the group is comfortable with a few hours of walking, waiting and scheduled experiences. Younger children may enjoy the safari-bus format more than a full ride-heavy theme-park day, but plan breaks rather than trying to complete every area.
Couples and groups of friends
Choose the Safari when the animal park itself interests you. If the group mainly wants rides, water attractions or evening entertainment, VinWonders or Grand World may be a better use of the same north-island block.
Travellers interested in animal care and conservation
Use the visit to understand how the open-zoo and safari-bus sections differ, but avoid treating a tourism visit itself as proof of conservation impact. Read the park’s current animal-care and conservation information if that is a major reason for going.
Main experiences inside the park
- Safari bus: the drive-through section is the core experience and should be protected in the schedule rather than left until closing time.
- Open Zoo: allow walking time between animal areas, especially with children or senior travellers.
- Scheduled shows or feeding experiences: treat these as date-specific. Check the current daily schedule on arrival instead of building the trip around an old timetable.
Timing, weather and family-day checks
Opening-time check — October 2026: current VinWonders guidance lists the overall Safari day at about 08:30–16:00, while some individual zones and services begin around 09:00. We therefore treat 08:30 as the general opening reference, then check the current schedule for the Safari bus, Open Zoo, restaurants and shows before arranging the day.
- Allow roughly half a day: three to four hours is a workable planning range for many visitors, but show queues, children’s pace and meals can extend it.
- Morning is usually easier: it gives more buffer for the Safari bus and scheduled experiences before the afternoon close.
- Heat and rain matter: carry sun/rain protection and use the Phu Quoc weather-by-month guide for seasonal planning rather than assuming every north-island day has the same conditions.
- Food requirements: if vegetarian, Jain, allergy or child-specific food matters, check the current park policy and menu before arrival rather than assuming a general “vegetarian option” meets the requirement.
How we would fit the Safari into North Phu Quoc
We give the Safari its own half-day block when animal viewing is a real priority. We would not squeeze it into a day that is already dominated by VinWonders, Grand World or a long cross-island transfer.
For families, pace matters more than the number of attractions on the ticket. We would either protect a comfortable Safari visit or make sure a combo still leaves enough usable time for both parks.
