Booked 2, 2 day private tours and money was well spent. Private tours means you can where possible avoid crowds and gain entry and exit quicker. Hai and Lun who we had for both days were professional and very prompt. They also could read when our energy was getting low and adapted the tour to our needs. Also understood when to chat and not as we spent a few hours travel time in car. If you’re wanting to explore Hanoi and the outer areas of Hanoi spend the extra money and book through this company. Day 1Hanoi Arrival - Half Day City Tour

When you arrive at Noi Bai Airport, our driver will meet you and take you to the hotel. Early check- in is not included. Take a rest.
13h00 – 13h30 Start the trip to visit Temple of Literature – where is considered the first university of Vietnam. This is also a famous historical relic of Hanoi and offers the cultural quintessence values of different periods. Here, you will have a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s history of development from the early days.
15h15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton.
Go to Hoan Kiem lake – A natural freshwater lake in the heart of Hanoi. You can enjoy the sweet taste imbued with the colors of the northern autumn sky. Timeline

8h15 – 8h50: Get picked up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater/ Opera House to depart Halong Bay. Our journey follows Hanoi – Haiphong – Tuan Chau Highway (about 2.5-hour drive)
12h00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, get on the boat to start the excursion discovering the beauty of the world heritage site
12h30: Enjoy set menu lunch on the boat with many special dishes of Halong. While having lunch, you all can see the beautiful scenery on both sides with thousands of limestone such as Fighting Chicken and Incense Buner Islets – 2 symbols of Halong Bay
