Dark and Bright Cave

Located in the area bordering Lan Ha Bay, Ha Long Bay, this area is located in the protected area of Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve. Guests will be relaxed in nature with the blue water, tourists sailing kayak or rowing boat to admire the majestic mountains contrast with the calm waters of the bay. In light cave there are a lot of emulsions with different shapes. This is a place to anchor and shelter safely from fishermen in the rainy season. Viet Hai Village

Viet Hai village belongs to Cat ba island – a new ecological tourist attraction. Distance from Cat Ba town more than 10 km crow flies, Viet Hai village is surrounded by high mountains and thick forests of the national park. The first impression when reaching the Viet Hai village is a new concrete road five kilometers long that we had never set foot on.

The village has only seven dozen houses, mostly hidden under the leaves that getting nestled in a garden or green jackfruit. Located in the valley of the core of Cat Ba National Park, that’s why tourists barely have information or have never been there. Therefore, Viet Hai still remain as a remote and mystery village.

Years ago, Viet Hai village almost cut off from the outside world because of the difficulty of reaching other areas on the island and the settlers still keep their primitive lives as their ancestors, the gentle heart. Although Viet Hai village is the most remote village and difficult life of Cat Hai district, the people seem very satisfied with poor material but high emotion in life. Especially, there are almost no kinds of social evils so it is quite peaceful.

Viet Hai village is a specific characteristic in the North of Viet Nam culture in comparison with the other village. It creates a unique culture, piqued the curiosity of tourists when they want to discover the country life and the true nature of the people here such as the development of remarkable rice culture, friendly and hospitably.

Ba Ham Lake

The Lake is surrounded by towering mountains and is so secluded that it may only be reached by kayak or Vietnamese sampan boat. Sailing through the tunnels that connect Ba Ham, visitors can almost touch the waterfalls of stalactites hanging from the 4-meter tall ceilings.

The water of the lake is deep but so clear that from the surface, fishes can sometimes be seen swimming in shoals. Around the lakes, visitors may spot Golden Langur monkeys, flying squirrels, and parrots, and other animal species that are endemic to Halong Bay.
