 Verified 4 hour tour of Hanoi -old quarter, train street, rickshaw, mausoleum Miami was our tour guide, she was magnificent! We did a private tour with just my husband and I. She was so informative, and explained so much about the culture and history of Vietnam. It was our first visit, so we learned a lot. She answered all of our many questions, and her English was excellent! When we booked our trip she adjusted the things to see based on our interest. I would highly recommend!  Verified One of the memorable trips of my life This trip to vietnam was one of the memorable trips of my life because of the wonderfull services provided by Vietnam stories, the wing of the Indochina travel group looking after Indian clients. They booked all the facilities that were promised in the itinerary and were transparent. The locations they booked were always in the heart of city giving you also enough opportunities to explore. They made are trip comfortable and went out of the way to arrange fireworks viewing in Da Nang. The people of Vietnam are polite, friendly and the country is beautiful.

Day 1Hanoi Arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, you will be collected by our driver at Hanoi Airport and transferred to hotel for check-in at 14h00.

Day 2Trang An – Bai Dinh (Breakfast/Lunch) – Joint in tour

Timeline

7h45 – 8h30: Picked up at your hotel. From there start your 100km bus trip through the green landscapes. Here is the itinerary for this trip:
- 10h30: Visit the glimmering Bai Dinh pagoda complexes, the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia where 500 stone statues of ‘La Han’ (Arhats), 2 bronze bells and 3 bronze statues of Tam The are located.
- 12h30: Have lunch at a local restaurant.
- 13h30: Visit Trang An Grottoes, an outstanding natural beauty with majestic limestone massif, Skull island – the village from the movie Kong. Cycle down the rural roads along the extensive canal network and through small villages.
18h30: Arrive in Hanoi. Our driver then picks you up and transfers to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3Hanoi - Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) – Joint in tour

Timeline

08:15 – 08:45: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.
11:45 – 12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises.
12:45 – 13:00: Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction.
13:00 – 13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.
16:00: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay.
17:30: Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) and the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.
19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retiring to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight on board

Day 4Halong Bay – Dark and Bright Cave - Hanoi (Breakfast/ Brunch) Joint in tour

06:00: Enjoy sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay.
06:30: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served.
07:15: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.
09:15: Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out.
10:00: Lunch is served on board.
11h00: Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina. Get on the Limousine shuttle bus and transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 5Hanoi city tour – Departure (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint in tour

Timeline

7h00: Have a local breakfast at your hotel. Check out at hotel. Leave your luggage at hotel.
7h30 – 8h00: Afterward, we transfer to Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest of its kind in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 – 548). The Buddhist shrine has undergone several changes throughout the years, particularly its renaming from An Quoc to Tran Quoc (protecting the country) by Emperor Le Huy Tong in the 17th century. Then we move to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closes on Monday and Friday) and his traditional stilt house.
12:00 PM: Transfer to a restaurant to enjoy lunch. After that, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. End of services.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Our tour run everyday, but our main focus are private tours for small group like couple or family. To request a customized tour, please note it down in your special request, send us your detail requirement and we will work closely with you to tailor your unforgettable trips.

Can I amend after I have booked?

Yes, It will depend on the time you amend with us. If you have any change, please advise us as soon as you can.

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

Group tour and Private tour.

Pease note that most of Halong bay trips are group tours, that means you will share the limousine transport with other guests to save your money but still feel comfortable. If you would like to get the private transfer, please contact us at anytime to get the deal.

Four of us retired people, I and my wife , my sister and her husband booked our Vietnam Trip through VIETNAM STORY (INDO CHINA TRAV GROUP).

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .
Channy and Tony are two gems of this company who were in touch through out the journey over WhatsApp and resolved any issue/ problem within few minutes. We were touched by their thoughtful welcome gift, special lunch on day one and their warm company.
Another important highlight was our smart tour guides who were very smart, sensible and kind. We were immensely charmed by Heidi who was so kind and witty and made the one day Delta tour very special because of her wonderful company.

Great experience from start to finish. Mya was very responsive and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
