Day 1Hanoi - Bai Tu Long G (L/D)

Timeline

08:00 – 08:30: Pick up at the hotel
12:00: Warmly welcomed by Signature Team in Ha Long International Pier. Complete the luggage check-in procedure at the waiting lounge before boarding for the cruise..
12:30: Transferred to the Signature Cruise by a tender boat. The Cruise Manager and the whole crew member welcome you onboard, a safety briefing and clearing out the itinerary will be delivered while you are enjoying our signature welcome drink.
12:45: Lunch is served at our cozy restaurant. As the cruise departs towards Bai Tu Long Bay – a hidden gem of Halong Bay Complex, absorb yourself in the gorgeous scenery and famous sights of limestone.
14:45: The cruise stops at Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village, a wealthy fishing village and had its reputation for culturing pearls. Here we have time to discover the life and culture of fishing people by kayaking.
16:00: Back to the Signature Cruise to enjoy your free time.
17:00: A Cooking Demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dishes will be organized by Athena Head Chef.
19:00: A fusion set menu will be served to warm up your stomach after a long active day.
20:30: Free time for evening activities: Film entertainment, mini-games (in the dining room), squid fishing, massage… The Cruise Manager will be there to support you.

Timeline

06:30: Good morning the Bay by joining Tai-Chi Exercise on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to “Luon” Cave.
07:00: A light breakfast is ready to serve at the restaurant.
08:00: Visit “Thien Canh Son” cave – Thien Canh Son Cave is comprised of three caverns in total, each one strewn with stalactites and stalagmites. 200 steps is waiting for your legs, ready to beat it.
09:00: Come back to Athena cruise, relax and pack the luggage. Leave the luggage outside the door. Athena team will collect and get them ready on the Pier.
09:30: Enjoy a brunch buffet at the restaurant after check-out while cruising toward the port.
10:45: Transfer by tender back to Ha Long International Pier and disembarkation.
11:00 – 12:00: The group car will pick you up at the cruise and transfer to Hanoi.
14:00 – 14:30: Farewell to guests.

Children Policy

Under 5 years old:

Children under 5 years old sharing the full price cabin with adults: Free of charge (Limited to 1 child/1 cabin)
From 2nd children: charged 50% adult (without extra bed)

From 5 to 10 years old:

01 Child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 75% adult.

From 11 years old:

Children from 11 years old will be charged as adults
Two children below 11 years stay in a private cabin are charged at 100% of the full cabin rate.

Cancellation policy for Tours

30% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled 5 days before departure
50% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 48 hours – 72 hours before departure
75% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 24 hours – 48 hours before departure

Four of us retired people, I and my wife , my sister and her husband booked our Vietnam Trip through VIETNAM STORY (INDO CHINA TRAV GROUP).

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .
Channy and Tony are two gems of this company who were in touch through out the journey over WhatsApp and resolved any issue/ problem within few minutes. We were touched by their thoughtful welcome gift, special lunch on day one and their warm company.
Another important highlight was our smart tour guides who were very smart, sensible and kind. We were immensely charmed by Heidi who was so kind and witty and made the one day Delta tour very special because of her wonderful company.

Great experience from start to finish. Mya was very responsive and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Yes, It will depend on the time you amend with us. If you have any change, please advise us as soon as you can.

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

Pease note that most of Halong bay trips are group tours, that means you will share the limousine transport with other guests to save your money but still feel comfortable. If you would like to get the private transfer, please contact us at anytime to get the deal.
