Day 1Hanoi - Lan Ha Bay – Sunset Party - Cooking Class (L/D)

Timeline

08:00 – 08:30: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi
09:00: Departure to Halong Bay for around 2.5 Hours with 20 minutes short break.
11:30 – 12:00: Arrive Tuan Chau harbor
12:00 – 12:30: Get transfer to Doris Cruise by a tender boat.
Around 13:00: Warmly welcome to Doris Cruise and enjoy Welcome drink, meet the captain, crew to get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines.
Enjoy the lunch while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.
Continue cruising through Con Vit islet (Duck Islet), Thumb islet and Gia Luan Harbour were belonged to Lan Ha Bay. Drop anchor for swimming or just simply sunbathe on the cruise (private, wild and fresh air).
Heading back toward the sleeping area.
Check-in your cabin.
17:30: Come back to Doris Cruise and participate in our sunset party. Take photos and relax.
18:30: Join cooking class guided directly by Chef of Doris Halong Cruise. You have chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes such as spring roll or famous cuisine of Vietnam.
Take advantage of the Happy hours “Buy 2 get 1 free” drink program at the Sky Bar.
19:00: It is time for your romantic dinner.
21:00: You are free for relaxing on cruise. Playing games, squid fishing, relaxing with massage service (on request) and stay overnight on the Doris Cruise.

Day 2On Boat – Cycling At Viet Hai Village – Kayaking – Swimming – Sunset Party (B/L/D)

Timeline

06:45: The breakfast is ready at the restaurant. Today you can wakeup late then have breakfast before departure. Please be ready at the reception latest 08:30.
08:20 – 08:45: You will be transferred to the Small Day-Boat then go to the south of Lan Ha Bay and heading to Viet Hai village. Please note that you will spend whole daylight in the village and on the Daily Boat and only come back to Doris Cruise around 16:00 – 16:30.
09:00: Small Day-Boat goes through Lan Ha Bay before disembark at Viet Hai dock.
10:00: Go cycling a short trip of 5km to Viet Hai village – a small village in the midst of the jungle, surrounded by the high mountain ranges of Cat Ba National Park. The area has become popular with foreign tourists, without attracting the mass tourism so that it is still very rustic. For those who are not fancy with cycling will be arranged by electric car.
11:30: Return to the dock and board our Small Day-Boat again to sail further to the other side of Lan Ha Bay.
12:00: Enjoy the lunch with beautiful view.
13:00 – 14:00: Kayaking around Tai Keo cave area, a tunnel cave, to a lake like “Dragon eye”.
14:00 – 14:30: We move on to some hidden beaches around Ba Trai Dao (Three Peaches) area.
14:30 – 15:30: You are free to go swimming in this beautiful & clean area.
16:00 – 16:30: Transferring back to Doris Cruise, take time to refresh or enjoy the jacuzzi pool or you can do the kayaking and swimming around the boat again.
17:15: The Doris cruise is moving to cruises sleeping area.
18:00: We serve you the small tea break on the sundeck under beautiful sunset
18:15: Come and join with us in the cooking class “How to make deep fried spring rolls” at outside of the restaurant
19:00: It’s time for dinner.
After dinner reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at our bar, wine and cigars cellar or enjoy the landscape of the bay at night. Take one of our on-board activities like squid fishing, watching TV in your room. Stay overnight on Doris Cruise.

Day 3Lan Ha Bay – Tai Chi Lesson – Dark And Bright Cave – Hanoi (B/Brunch)

06:30: Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck.
07:00 – 07:45: Have breakfast. Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.
08:00: Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and its dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters heading to Dark & Bright Cave (Hang Sang & Toi), exploring the cave yourself on local bamboo boat rowed by the locals.
09:30: Back to your cabin, take relax and check carefully all the luggage before leaving your cabin. Check-out from the private cabin and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete check-out procedure.
10:00: Enjoy your last buffet lunch at Doris cruise.
11:30: Doris Cruise are landing Tuan Chau Harbor, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.
12:00 – 12:30: Return to Hanoi by the limousine.
15:00 – 15:15: Arrive in Hanoi.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Can I amend after I have booked?

Yes, It will depend on the time you amend with us. If you have any change, please advise us as soon as you can.

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

Group tour and Private tour.

Pease note that most of Halong bay trips are group tours, that means you will share the limousine transport with other guests to save your money but still feel comfortable. If you would like to get the private transfer, please contact us at anytime to get the deal.

Four of us retired people, I and my wife , my sister and her husband booked our Vietnam Trip through VIETNAM STORY (INDO CHINA TRAV GROUP).

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .
Channy and Tony are two gems of this company who were in touch through out the journey over WhatsApp and resolved any issue/ problem within few minutes. We were touched by their thoughtful welcome gift, special lunch on day one and their warm company.

Great experience from start to finish. Mya was very responsive and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
