this is our 5th TAD adventure. When booking you know where you are going but from experience we know it’s the Tour Leader that will make or break the trip. Tom greeted us and started with setting up a What’s App, a great idea, it is more than just helpful, it brings the team together, sharing & caring. it didn’t take long for everyone to jump onboard adding info, asking questions and adding /sharing photos. Tom sorted our rooms, handed out our keys, had Water everyday, paid ahead for entry to excursion destinations, organised for laundry etc which certainly ment less headaches for everyone ( upgrade) Organising the bus to save walking or taxi/uber ride (upgrade) With Tom’s wide smile, warm personality & good English we knew we were in good hands, always happy to help out and deal with our issues (they happen) As a tour leader we rate him AAA. 5 Stars – Excellent Tours and Wonderful Guides! We had an absolutely fantastic experience during our recent visit to Hanoi, Vietnam! We booked two private tours, and both exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time exploring Vietnam, and the entire trip was smooth and well organised. Staying in Hanoi’s Old Quarter was a great experience, and we really enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscapes of Ninh Binh and taking the boat ride through Trang An. The highlight of our trip was the overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay. The stunning scenery, peaceful overnight stay, and morning kayaking made it a truly memorable experience. The limousine transfers were also comfortable and hassle-free throughout the trip. A special thanks to Nina for helping customise our itinerary and patiently answering all my questions from day one. Her support and guidance made the planning process much easier and gave us confidence before the trip. Overall, everything went smoothly, and we returned home with lots of beautiful memories. An Excellent Guide – Thank You, Hai Nguyen! Hai Nguyen made our Vietnam trip truly memorable! He was punctual, friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout our time with him. He explained everything so well that we could appreciate not just the places we visited, but also the culture and stories behind them. What touched me most was his willingness to go the extra mile. At Mua Cave, he patiently helped me climb the steps and encouraged me along the way. He also helped us take lovely photographs, assisted us with shopping, and took us to a place selling beautiful bamboo products. His suggestions to visit the night market and take an evening walk around the lake added some wonderful experiences to our trip that we might otherwise have missed. Hai was always considerate, and attentive to our needs. His warmth and genuine helpfulness made us feel comfortable and well looked after. It is these little gestures and personal touches that make a trip memorable, and Hai certainly made a difference to ours. Timeline

08h00 – 08h30: Pick up at hotel (NO GUIDE).
11h30: Arrive at La Regina Royal waiting lounge – Bai Chay – Ha Long, enjoy welcome drink and express check-in before boarding.
12:30: Check in aboard with Welcome drink from crew member while manager introduce the safety briefing and the boat cruising forward to the Halong bay.
13:00: Let your vacation start with a delicious lunch set menu in restaurant.
15:00: Your first excursion is a visit to Luon Cave. This is considered as one of the most ideal places in Halong for kayaking or rowing boat. After that, you can visit Titop Island, where you can go swimming or hike to the top for another stunning, panoramic view of the Bay.
17:00: Come back the cruise for relaxing.
19:00: Enjoy our special dinner in the restaurant. After dinner, it’s your choice for a fun squid fishing, spa, karaoke or relaxing.

Timeline

06:00: Greets first light of the Day on Sundeck, warming up your body with a Tai Chi lesson or enjoying leisure time in the room.
06:30: Breakfast is served at the restaurant.
08:00: Boarding our day boat and start cruising toward Viet Hai fishing village.
10:00: Arrive at Viet Hai local pier for your 30-minute biking on a paved road along a nice lagoon then head up to a small slope before descending through a tunnel cave. The pleasant ride along the jungle path will lead you to Viet Hai, a small village nestled between jungle and limestone towers
12:30: Lunch is served whether at the village or on board.
15:00: The cruise comes to Ba Trai Dao Beach. The seawater in Ba Trai Dao Beach is very clean, and the bottom can be seen on sunny days. It’s also safe for swimming and kayaking.
16:00: Return to the main boat and leisure till dinner.

06:00: Greet the new day on the sundeck with Tai Chi Exercise.
06:30: Light breakfast is served at the restaurant.
07:30: After breakfast, Your next excursion is a visit to the magnificent Sung Sot Cave (Surprising cave) – the biggest and the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay – where you can take in the panoramic views across Halong Bay.
9:00: Come back to La Regina Royal Cruise, relax and pack the luggage. Leave the luggage outside the door. Our team will collect and get them ready on the Pier.
09:45: Vietnamese cuisine buffet is served at the restaurant while the boat heads back to the harbor.
11:00: Disembark at the harbor, and farewell to guests.
11:00 – 12:00: The group car will pick you up at the cruise and transfer to Hanoi.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?
