 Verified Exploring Hanoi
Booked 2, 2 day private tours and money was well spent. Private tours means you can where possible avoid crowds and gain entry and exit quicker. Hai and Lun who we had for both days were professional and very prompt. They also could read when our energy was getting low and adapted the tour to our needs. Also understood when to chat and not as we spent a few hours travel time in car. If you’re wanting to explore Hanoi and the outer areas of Hanoi spend the extra money and book through this company. Viator and other sites are good for quick trips but for longer trips use Indochina group who are very professional

We had the great pleasure of having Hai Nguyen as our guide on today’s Bai Dinh Pagoda–Trang An tour, organised by Indochina Travel Group, and he truly made the day special. Hai was a wonderful representative of the friendly and welcoming Vietnamese culture. From the very beginning, he was warm, friendly and professional, and he always took the time to accommodate our wishes and make sure we were comfortable. He is very knowledgeable, not only about the places we visited, but also about Vietnamese history, culture and many other subjects. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Hanoi - Sapa - Cat cat village (L/D)

6:30: Picking up you from bus station and get on sleeping bus and depart to Sapa.

7:30 – 11:45: Following the Highway to Lao Cai city with the comfort break.

11:45 – 13:00: Bus on the mountain road approaching to Sapa Town. On the way you can see beautiful view, the valley with terraces field.

13:00:Arriving Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. – Welcome drink and itinerary briefing. – Enjoying the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures.

14:30: A short walking to the Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will trekk up hill to get back to Sapa with very beautiful scenery in the late afternoon. Trekking distance is about 2.5 kms and it lasts for 2 hours.

17:00: Coming back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight at hotel with night activities.

Day 2Sapa - Fansipan - Hanoi (B/L)

8:00: After breakfast in hotel, driver & tour guide take you to Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

9:00: Reaching the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

11:30: Coming back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.

12:00: Lunch at local restaurant In the afternoon.

14:00-15:00: Getting on bus to go back to Hanoi with comfort breaks.

20:00 – 20:30: Arrive hotel. Trip ends

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
