Detailed Itinerary

Day 1Venus Cruise Trip Day 1

Timeline

08:00 – 08:30: Pick up at your hotel. Then transfer to Tuan Chau wharf on the new highway.
11:30 – 12:00: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, VENUS Cruises. After boarding, Cruise Manager will give a brief about safety regulations and tours. Guests then will be given room key and time for freshening before lunch. We encourage you to explore our luxuriously-appointed ship then watch the magical landscape cruise past.
13:15: Lunch will be served at the restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay. After lunch time, you will have a short break before joining the first activity of the tour.
15:00: Cruise anchors at Tra Bau area. Guests are free to choose kayaking or immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters. This will be a very particular experience when your feet are around 20m above land.
17:00: It’s time to return to your lavish liner and cruise to your evening accommodation.
17:30 – 18:30: Enjoy Sunset Party with fruits and snacks on Venus Sky Bar and Happy hour will offer you drink with attractive price. Happy together, watching the Sun falling into the sea will be unforgettable memories to every single traveller on board.
18:00: Our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.
19:45: You can spoil yourself with a unique Signature Dinner in our distinctive restaurant.
20:45 – 0:00: It is now time to relax with an exotic cocktail and drink in the evening landscape. Our bar offers a wide range of wine, beer, and liqueurs and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day sailing on the Bay. You can order an indulgent spa service, watch movies, go squid ﬁshing or simply relax on our rooftop deck under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky.

Day 2Dark & Bright Grotto – Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi (Light Breakfast/Brunch)

Timeline

05:30 – 6:00: Greets first light of the day on Sundeck, warming up your body with Tai Chi lesson or enjoy an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you.
06:00 – 06:40: Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)
06:45 – 07:40: Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright grotto and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
09:30: Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a ﬁnal early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 10:45 -11:00, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
11:45 – 12:10: Get on the luxury van and get back to Hanoi.

Children Policy

Under 5 years old:

Children under 5 years old sharing the full price cabin with adults: Free of charge (Limited to 1 child/1 cabin)
From 2nd children: charged 50% adult (without extra bed)

From 5 to 10 years old:

01 Child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 75% adult.

From 11 years old:

Children from 11 years old will be charged as adults
Two children below 11 years stay in a private cabin are charged at 100% of the full cabin rate.

Cancellation policy for Tours

30% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled 5 days before departure
50% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 48 hours – 72 hours before departure
75% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 24 hours – 48 hours before departure
100% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled less than 24 hours before departure or no show

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Can I amend after I have booked?

Yes, It will depend on the time you amend with us. If you have any change, please advise us as soon as you can.

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

Group tour and Private tour.

Pease note that most of Halong bay trips are group tours, that means you will share the limousine transport with other guests to save your money but still feel comfortable. If you would like to get the private transfer, please contact us at anytime to get the deal.

Four of us retired people, I and my wife , my sister and her husband booked our Vietnam Trip through VIETNAM STORY (INDO CHINA TRAV GROUP).

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .
Channy and Tony are two gems of this company who were in touch through out the journey over WhatsApp and resolved any issue/ problem within few minutes. We were touched by their thoughtful welcome gift, special lunch on day one and their warm company.

Great experience from start to finish. Mya was very responsive and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
