this is our 5th TAD adventure. When booking you know where you are going but from experience we know it’s the Tour Leader that will make or break the trip. Tom greeted us and started with setting up a What’s App, a great idea, it is more than just helpful, it brings the team together, sharing & caring. it didn’t take long for everyone to jump onboard adding info, asking questions and adding /sharing photos. Tom sorted our rooms, handed out our keys, had Water everyday, paid ahead for entry to excursion destinations, organised for laundry etc which certainly ment less headaches for everyone ( upgrade) Organising the bus to save walking or taxi/uber ride (upgrade) With Tom’s wide smile, warm personality & good English we knew we were in good hands, always happy to help out and deal with our issues (they happen) As a tour leader we rate him AAA. We had a wonderful time exploring Vietnam, and the entire trip was smooth and well organised. Staying in Hanoi’s Old Quarter was a great experience, and we really enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscapes of Ninh Binh and taking the boat ride through Trang An. The highlight of our trip was the overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay. The stunning scenery, peaceful overnight stay, and morning kayaking made it a truly memorable experience. The limousine transfers were also comfortable and hassle-free throughout the trip. A special thanks to Nina for helping customise our itinerary and patiently answering all my questions from day one. An Excellent Guide – Thank You, Hai Nguyen! Hai Nguyen made our Vietnam trip truly memorable! He was punctual, friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout our time with him. He explained everything so well that we could appreciate not just the places we visited, but also the culture and stories behind them. What touched me most was his willingness to go the extra mile. At Mua Cave, he patiently helped me climb the steps and encouraged me along the way. He also helped us take lovely photographs, assisted us with shopping, and took us to a place selling beautiful bamboo products. His suggestions to visit the night market and take an evening walk around the lake added some wonderful experiences to our trip that we might otherwise have missed. Day 1Hanoi - Halong - Lan Ha Bay (Lunch/ Dinner)

Timeline

08:00 – 08:30: Pick up at your hotel. Then transfer to Tuan Chau wharf on the new highway.
11:30 – 12:00: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board our luxurious craft, VENUS Cruises. After boarding, Cruise Manager will give a brief about safety regulations and tours. Guests then will be given room key and time for freshening before lunch. We encourage you to explore our luxuriously-appointed ship then watch the magical landscape cruise past.
13:15: Lunch will be served at the restaurant while the cruise goes ahead to Halong Bay. After lunch time, you will have a short break before joining the first activity of the tour.
15:00: Cruise anchors at Tra Bau area. Guests are free to choose kayaking or immerse yourself in the crystal clear waters. This will be a very particular experience when your feet are around 20m above land.
17:00: It’s time to return to your lavish liner and cruise to your evening accommodation.
17:30 – 18:30: Enjoy Sunset Party with fruits and snacks on Venus Sky Bar and Happy hour will offer you drink with attractive price. Happy together, watching the Sun falling into the sea will be unforgettable memories to every single traveller on board.
18:00: Our Vietnamese cooking demonstration is a great way to learn how to prepare delicious appetizers and we will guide you through the process.
19:45: You can spoil yourself with a unique Signature Dinner in our distinctive restaurant.
20:45 – 0:00: It is now time to relax with an exotic cocktail and drink in the evening landscape. Our bar offers a wide range of wine, beer, and liqueurs and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day sailing on the Bay. You can order an indulgent spa service, watch movies, go squid ﬁshing or simply relax on our rooftop deck under the cover of a brightly illuminated sky.

Day 2 Viet Hai Village - Ba Trai Dao Beach (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

05:30 – 6:00: The morning is the best time of the day on Lan Ha Bay. You might like to head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions or enjoy leisure time in your room
06:00 – 07:00: Breakfast is served at Signature restaurant. It can be either buffet style or set menu during the trip.
08:15 – 14:00: You will be taken to Viet Hai village. Spend 6 hours to discover the 100 years old with plenty of interesting things. Cycling around, take a deep breath of fragrance paddy field, trying fish massage or talking with gentle and charm local people, tasting local dishes while lunch is served whether at the village or on board.
14:30 – 15:30: Swimming and kayaking time at one of the most beautiful beach of Lan Ha Bay: Ba Trai Dao Beach-featuring three small beautiful sandy beaches embracing small islands. Guests can also do some volley ball hits at the beach too.
16:30 – 17:15: Return to main boat and leisure till dinner.
18:30 – 20:00: Delicious dinner is ready to be served. It can be flexible between set menu and buffet in order to vary the diner taste.
20:30 – 00:00: Free time. You can try spa, squid fishing or reading, lying under thousand stars sky or gossip with friends.

Day 3Dark & Bright Grotto - Lan Ha Bay - Hanoi (Light Breakfast/Brunch)

Timeline

05:30 – 06:00: Greets first light of the day on Sundeck, warming up your body with Tai Chi lesson or enjoy an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice to watch the stunning scenery unfold before you.
06:00 – 06:40: Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee).
06:45 – 07:40: Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright grotto and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.
09:30: Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a ﬁnal early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 10:45 – 11:00, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.
11:45 – 12:10: Get on the luxury van and get back to Hanoi.

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
