 Verified 4 hour tour of Hanoi -old quarter, train street, rickshaw, mausoleum Miami was our tour guide, she was magnificent! We did a private tour with just my husband and I. She was so informative, and explained so much about the culture and history of Vietnam. It was our first visit, so we learned a lot. She answered all of our many questions, and her English was excellent! When we booked our trip she adjusted the things to see based on our interest. I would highly recommend!  Verified One of the memorable trips of my life This trip to vietnam was one of the memorable trips of my life because of the wonderfull services provided by Vietnam stories, the wing of the Indochina travel group looking after Indian clients. They booked all the facilities that were promised in the itinerary and were transparent. The locations they booked were always in the heart of city giving you also enough opportunities to explore. They made are trip comfortable and went out of the way to arrange fireworks viewing in Da Nang. The people of Vietnam are polite, friendly and the country is beautiful.

Timeline

7:30 – 8:00: Pick-up from your hotel. You’ll be transferred to Halong Bay.
11:30 – 12:00: Upon arrival at Halong International Cruise Port, you’ll be welcomed by our cruise staff in the waiting lounge and complete check-in procedure.
12:00: Board the Amanda Cruise, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and cold towel before checking into your cabin. The vessel departs Tuan Chau Marina, taking you on an exciting journey to discover the beauty of Halong Bay. Along the way, you can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful spots in Halong and admire the grandeur of the Bay with thousands of limestone islands while the vessel heads to Trinh Nu Cave.
Enjoy lunch at our luxurious restaurant on board while the vessel cruises toward Trinh Nu cave.
14:00: Return to your cabin for a short rest and prepare for kayaking activities in Trinh Nu Cave area.
15:00: Transfer to Trinh Nu Cave by tender.
- Upon arriving at Trinh Nu Cave area, take part in kayaking activities. To get to Trinh Nu beach, kayak around thousand-year-old limestone formations and then walk for 5 minutes through Trinh Nu cave. Trinh Nu beach will amaze you with its white sand, emerald water and mild pleasant weather conditions.
17:30 – 18:00: Back on board, participate in Sunset party & cooking class while the vessel cruises toward the shore. Enjoy relaxing moments while sipping a cup of traditional Vietnamese tea or coffee on the sundeck amid wonderful scenery and beautiful sunset. Halong Bay is calm during the day, but when the sun goes down, the Bay becomes even more tranquil and peaceful.
You’ll be instructed to make delicious traditional Vietnamese steamed rice rolls by our chef and then enjoy the rolls made on your own.
17:30 – 18:30: Happy hour – BUY 2 DRINK GET 1 FOR FREE.
19:30: Gala Dinner. Enjoy your dinner on the Sundeck (if the weather is favorable).
20:30: After dinner, enjoy a peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. You can also participate in evening activities such as massage (subject to additional charge), herbal foot bath on sundeck (free of charge one herbal bag for each cabin) or enjoy music and some drinks at Sky Bar while admiring the breathtaking view of the Bay at night and squid fishing.
The cruise ship anchors for your peaceful night stay in a quiet area.

Timeline

08:30: The day boat will pick up guests at Amanda Cruise and depart from the Titop area in Halong Bay.
10:30: Transfer to Lan Ha Bay, which is formed by the archipelago of Cat Ba Island. Stop at Dark and Bright caves area for an hour and a half of kayaking.
11:30: Lunch will be served on the boat.
12:30: Move to Ba Trai Dao beaches (Three Peaches Beaches) for an hour and fifteen minutes of swimming in crystal clear waters and relaxing on a beautiful white sandy beach.
13:30: The boat will return to Halong Bay to explore more of the stunning landscape.
14:45: Visit Pearl Farm Exhibition Center and Museum for a forty-minute educational tour about the process of pearl farming, harvesting, and the business of pearls.
15:25: Return to the boat and transfer back to Amanda Cruise.

Timeline

6:15: Rise and shine with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck to kick off your day.
6:30 – 7:00: Fuel up with a light breakfast of coffee, tea, cake, and fruit.
7:30: Embark on an adventure to explore Sung Sot cave, one of the largest and most magnificent caves in Halong Bay. Unique rock formations can be found throughout the cave, making it a sight you won’t find anywhere else. As you make your way to the mouth of the cave, you’ll be surrounded by a canopy of leaves, climbing steep stone steps and feeling the excitement of stepping into the sky.
8:30 – 9:30: Return to the boat and take some time to relax in your room, enjoy a herbal foot bath prepared by our crew, sunbathe on the sundeck, take pictures of Halong Bay, or shop for souvenirs on board.
9:30: Check-out time. Please leave your luggage outside your cabin and drop off the room key at the reception desk. Our staff will transfer your luggage to the waiting area. While waiting, you can shop for some Amanda Cruise products.
10:00: Savor an early lunch buffet at the restaurant on the 2nd floor and settle any outstanding bills.
11:00: Return to Tuan Chau Marina,
11:30 – 12:00: Get the car and get back to Hanoi

- 30% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled 5 days before departure
- 50% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 48 hours – 72 hours before departure
- 75% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled between 24 hours – 48 hours before departure
- 100% of the tour price if the tour is cancelled less than 24 hours before departure or no show

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Yes, It will depend on the time you amend with us. If you have any change, please advise us as soon as you can.

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

Group tour and Private tour.

Pease note that most of Halong bay trips are group tours, that means you will share the limousine transport with other guests to save your money but still feel comfortable. If you would like to get the private transfer, please contact us at anytime to get the deal.

Four of us retired people, I and my wife , my sister and her husband booked our Vietnam Trip through VIETNAM STORY (INDO CHINA TRAV GROUP).

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .
Channy and Tony are two gems of this company who were in touch through out the journey over WhatsApp and resolved any issue/ problem within few minutes. We were touched by their thoughtful welcome gift, special lunch on day one and their warm company.
Another important highlight was our smart tour guides who were very smart, sensible and kind. We were immensely charmed by Heidi who was so kind and witty and made the one day Delta tour very special because of her wonderful company.

Great experience from start to finish. Mya was very responsive and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
