Booked 2, 2 day private tours and money was well spent. Private tours means you can where possible avoid crowds and gain entry and exit quicker. Hai and Lun who we had for both days were professional and very prompt. They also could read when our energy was getting low and adapted the tour to our needs. Also understood when to chat and not as we spent a few hours travel time in car. If you’re wanting to explore Hanoi and the outer areas of Hanoi spend the extra money and book through this company. Viator and other sites are good for quick trips but for longer trips use Indochina group who are very professional

We had the great pleasure of having Hai Nguyen as our guide on today’s Bai Dinh Pagoda–Trang An tour, organised by Indochina Travel Group, and he truly made the day special. Hai was a wonderful representative of the friendly and welcoming Vietnamese culture. From the very beginning, he was warm, friendly and professional, and he always took the time to accommodate our wishes and make sure we were comfortable. He is very knowledgeable, not only about the places we visited, but also about Vietnamese history, culture and many other subjects. 08:00 – 08:30: Pickup time.
11:45: Arrival in the Catherine Cruise’s Lounge at Tuan Chau marina, you enjoy a Catherine homemade welcome drink and meet the crew.
12:15: Check-in onboard.
12:30: The cruise manager will give you a short cruise briefing and safety guide.
12:45: Enjoy your lunch at the luxurious restaurant which is well prepared by Catherine’s professional chefs.
14:30: Time to explore the spectacular beauty of Halong Bay by kayaking at Luon Cave.
15:45: You continue to visit Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied).
17:30: Relax with Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) and join in the special afternoon tea and Cooking demonstration.
19:15: Dinner with set menu is served.
20:45: Evening Activities. Have squid fishing or play mini-golf, games like poker as well as spa services. Overnight on cruise.

06:15: Start your wonderful day with Tai Chi class on the sundeck.
06:45: Enjoy your light breakfast in the restaurant.
07:45: Visit Sung Sot Cave – the largest cave in Halong Bay which is in the center of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Rubber shoes and sandals are highly recommended.
09:15: Room check-out: After visiting the cave, return to our Catherine Cruise to pack your luggage and check-out.
09:45: Full brunch buffet was served in the dining room while cruising back to the main port. Settles your bills at the reception counter.
10:45: Disembark Catherine vessel at Tuan Chau marina.
11:00 – 12:00: The group car will pick you up at the cruise and take you back to Hanoi.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?
