this is our 5th TAD adventure. When booking you know where you are going but from experience we know it’s the Tour Leader that will make or break the trip. Tom greeted us and started with setting up a What’s App, a great idea, it is more than just helpful, it brings the team together, sharing & caring. it didn’t take long for everyone to jump onboard adding info, asking questions and adding /sharing photos. Tom sorted our rooms, handed out our keys, had Water everyday, paid ahead for entry to excursion destinations, organised for laundry etc which certainly ment less headaches for everyone ( upgrade) Organising the bus to save walking or taxi/uber ride (upgrade) With Tom’s wide smile, warm personality & good English we knew we were in good hands, always happy to help out and deal with our issues (they happen) As a tour leader we rate him AAA. We had a wonderful time exploring Vietnam, and the entire trip was smooth and well organised. Staying in Hanoi’s Old Quarter was a great experience, and we really enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscapes of Ninh Binh and taking the boat ride through Trang An. The highlight of our trip was the overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay. The stunning scenery, peaceful overnight stay, and morning kayaking made it a truly memorable experience. The limousine transfers were also comfortable and hassle-free throughout the trip. A special thanks to Nina for helping customise our itinerary and patiently answering all my questions from day one. An Excellent Guide – Thank You, Hai Nguyen! Hai Nguyen made our Vietnam trip truly memorable! He was punctual, friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout our time with him. He explained everything so well that we could appreciate not just the places we visited, but also the culture and stories behind them. What touched me most was his willingness to go the extra mile. At Mua Cave, he patiently helped me climb the steps and encouraged me along the way. He also helped us take lovely photographs, assisted us with shopping, and took us to a place selling beautiful bamboo products. His suggestions to visit the night market and take an evening walk around the lake added some wonderful experiences to our trip that we might otherwise have missed. Hai was always considerate, and attentive to our needs. His warmth and genuine helpfulness made us feel comfortable and well looked after. We had a wonderful time in Vietnam and came home with so many lovely memories. A big thank you to Nina for arranging our trip and to Ivy for helping us throughout the tour. Having the hotels and transfers organised made travelling between destinations much easier. 08:15 – 08:45: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.
11:45 – 12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises.
12:45 – 13:00: Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction.
13:00 – 13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.
16:00: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay.
17:30: Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) and the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.
19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retiring to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight on board.
06:00: Enjoy sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay.
06:30: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served.
07:15: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.
09:15: Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out.
10:00: Lunch is served on board.
11h35: We return to the quayside in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark in Tuan Chau Marina. You will get on the Limousine shuttle bus to transfer back to Hanoi. Our driver will pick you up to transfer to the airport to take your domestic flight to Danang.
Once arrival in Danang, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the hotel in Danang to check in. Overnight at the hotel.
7h30: Being picked up at hotel in Hoi An. Transfer to Ba Na Hills (35km) and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na Hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French, the Golden Bridge…Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nginh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours). Or discover Ba Na hills on your own.
15h00: Back to the cable car. Then, you will be transferred back to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Our driver will pick you up to transfer to the airport to take your domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Once arrive in Ho Chi Minh, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to the hotel to check in by our tour guide and driver. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Timeline:
At 12:00-12:30: Our tour guide and driver will come to hotel and pick you up for Cu Chi tunnels tour. We drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi.
Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)
Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.
We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Visit a flea market and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels of Mekong River.
Have some fresh fruits and visit some local cottage industries (coconut candy workshop, snake wine, pop-rice, or rice paper)
Visit an island named Tan Phong and a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and enjoy getting in touch with local life.
Join a cooking demonstration and enjoy your wonderful lunch afterward.
Take a cycling tour of about 30 minutes around the village -a fantastic way to experience local life.
Get back to the house, say goodbye to your hosts.
17h30 – 18h00: Arrive Ho Chi Minh, be dropped off at your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh City today and drive to Mui Ne Beach in Phan Thiet, four hours north. Settle into your hotel and then head out to experience this vibrant fishing port renowned for making potent fish sauce.
Phan Thiet is also the gateway to lavish beach resorts and Mui Ne’s towering dunes, which are particularly beautiful at sunset. Soak up the sun on the beach and end the day with a bowl of heavily-seasoned fish pho (herby noodle soup laced with fish).
13:30: Departing from your hotel at Mui Ne heading to Fairy stream.
13:45: Visiting Fairy Stream, where the small stream running through the middle of the red and yellow canyons, ostriches riding (at own expense)
14:45: Visiting Fishing Village, observing the daily lives of fishermen, catch is hauled to shore and fishing boats are lining up.
15:45: Visiting White Sand Dunes, activities can be taken riding quadbikes over sand dunes (additional charge), sliding down sand dunes slopes with sand boarding (at own expense)
17:15: Visiting Red Sand Dunes. Slopes are less steep than the White sand dunes, great opportunity for taking photo as red colour of the sand is great contrast to background scenery and observing the spectacular sunset over the sand dunes.
18:00: After the sunset, returning back to your hotel at Mui Ne.
