Day 1Hanoi Arrival

Timeline

Welcome at Noi Bai International airport and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14h00. The balance of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 2Hanoi City Tour (Breakfast/ Lunch) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

8h00 – 8h30: Tour guide and bus pick up at hotel to explore Hanoi City.
8h45: Arrive to Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, West Lake. The 6th-century pagoda is Hanoi’s oldest.
9h30: Visit Uncle Ho’s tomb at Ho Chi Minh Complex. Walk around the grounds to observe Ho Chi Minh’s embalmed body and two buildings where he lived and worked from 1954 until 1969.
Explore One Pillar Pagoda, the world’s most unusual pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy. Dress modestly, covering shoulders to knees, when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas. (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed Mondays and Fridays. Visitors can still snap photos of the Mausoleum and surrounding area, although it is closed for at least two months (15th June-15th August) for annual maintenance)
11h15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about 54 ethnic groups around the country. We’ll visit Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead of Vietnam Ethnology Museum, which is closed on Mondays.
12h45: Lunch at our restaurant. You can eat Vietnamese food. Vegetarian food exists.
14h00 – 14h15: Continue to the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam’s first university and one of Northern Vietnam’s most popular tourist attractions. Literature Temple was founded in 1070.
15h15: Visit Hoa Lo Prison, erected by the French from 1886 to 1901 when Vietnam was part of French Indochina. French called the jail Maison Centrale. The prison, once called “A Hell on Earth,” is now a battle museum for Vietnamese people’s war against France.
16h30: You will arrive at hotel.

Day 3Halong Bay Full Day (Breakfast/ Lunch) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

8.15-8.30: Get picked up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quater to depart Halong Bay
Our journey follows Hanoi – Haiphong- Tuan Chau Highway (about a2.5-hour drive)
12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, get on the boat to start the excursion discovering the beauty of the world heritage site
12:30: Enjoy set menu lunch on the boat with many special dishes of Halong. While having lunch, you all can see the beautiful scenery on both sides with thousands of limestone such as Fighting Chicken and Incense Buner Islets – 2 symbols of Halong Bay
14.00: Arrive at Bo Hon Island, and you will visit Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave with a lot of stalagmites and stalactites
14.45: Do kayaking or bamboo boat through Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.
15.15: Visit TiTop Island with its sandy beach. You can go swimming here or trek up to the top of the island for sightseeing all of Halong bay
16.00: Back to the boat for the sunset party (some wine, fruits, and biscuits) meanwhile the boat is cruising back to the harbor
17.45: Arrive back atthe harbor. Get on the bus and return to Hanoi
20:30: Get dropped off at the hotel.

Day 4Hanoi - Flight To Danang - Cam Thanh coconut - Hoi An town - Boat Ride - Release Lantern On The River (Breakfast/ Dinner)

Timeline

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport and then take flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be pick up and head to hotel. Check in time is 14:00.
12h00 – 12h15: Driver and tour guide pick you at hotel.
Begin your adventure with Cam Thanh Coconut, you can learn traditional fishing techniques and row distinctive Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the serene coconut palm canals of the past conflict as a fisherman at Cam Thanh Coconut Village. About 14h30: The next location is Hoi An Old Town.
- Visit the Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, with its colorful gates, dragon statues, and beautiful roofing. Discover ancestor worship by visiting the family altar and witnessing local offerings.
- Phung Hung Ancient House and Tan Ky Ancient House are well-preserved after 200 years of weather and conflict. Discover the successful merchants who traded with international buyers from these mansions. Highlights include art shows at Hoi An Traditional Performing Arts House.
- Check out the Japanese Bridge. The 400-year-old bridge connected the Japanese village to the Chinese on the opposite side of a tiny river.
- Explore the bridge’s carvings and murals, learning about their cultural significance and symbolism.
- Also, explore Hoi An’s famous handcraft shops and art galleries.
- Explore hidden laneways and districts to appreciate Hoi An’s charm.

Day 5Bana Hill - Golden Bridge - Joint In Tour (Breakfast/ Lunch)

Timeline

7h45 – 8h00: Be picked up at hotel in Da Nang. Transfer to Ba Na Hills (35km) and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na Hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French, the Golden Bridge… Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Ninh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours).
15h00: Back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6Da Nang – Flight To Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast)

Day 7Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnels (Breakfast/ Lunch) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

8h00 – 8h30: Pick up at your hotel and start the city tour included:
- Independence Palace (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
- War Remnants Museum which has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.
- Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
- Jade Emperor Pagoda with the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.
12h30 Lunch time with a famous Phở restaurant (Vietnamese noodle soup).
14h00: Depart around 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi Tunnels – the historic site where Vietnamese soldiers used as a shelter during wartime. This fantastic network stretches over 250 km and is the shelter of Vietnamese soldiers during the wars. There is a shooting range where you can try to fire automatic or semi-automatic weapons for a fee (this fee is not included)
18h00 – 19h00: Be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner on your own account. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8Mekong Delta Full day tour (Breakfast, Lunch) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

8h00 – 8h30: Depart from Ho Chi Minh and head straight to Ben Tre, crossing the impressive Rach Mieu Cable-stayed Bridge. Board a small boat to visit typical workplaces including small brick factories, a coconut processing workshop and a local mat-weaving house. Stop at a quiet village, take a short walk to experience local life and hop on your xe-lôi (a kind of motorized rickshaw).
12h30: Enjoy lunch at a local riverside restaurant.
13h30: Take a short cycling tour to explore the surrounding fields before boarding a sampan for a tranquil trip along the picturesque canals. Come back to the port and return to Ho Chi Minh.
17h00: Be dropped at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10Carble Car - 3 Island Trip (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

8h30: Pick up from your hotel at the lobby in the center of Duong Dong town. If pick up and drop off in other areas, extra fee can be applied. Arrive at the harbor – board our boat and visit 3 islands in the South:
- Xuong Island: Snorkeling at the coral reef.
- May Rut Trong Island: white sand lagoon – beach, water sports, beach bar, chill-out. Enjoy lunch on board.
- The boat arrives Thom Island: Enjoy Aquatopia water park – more than 20 modern games from the world’s leading manufacturers. Back on the cable car (around 25 mins): Enjoy sunset, rides with a panoramic overall view of islands.

8h00: Our tour will guide you to start the trip to Angkor sites included:
- Angkor Thom which is no doubt the expression of the highest genius.
- Bayon Temple with many other relics which offer a great chance to observe ancient sculptures.
- Terrace of the Leper King before going along the Terrace of Elephants – originally used as a viewing gallery for the king to preside over parades, performances and traditional sports and more highlighted sites such as Baphuon Temple, Ta Prohm “Tomb Raider” fame.
- Angkor Wat – the Mother of all temples which is believed to be the world’s largest religious building.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!

Can I amend after I have booked?

Yes, It will depend on the time you amend with us. If you have any change, please advise us as soon as you can.

What should I do if I get lost during the tour?

Incase you cannot find your tour guide/airport representative, please stay calm, stay where you are and contact the tour guide that we provided or contact us to tell your address, we will contact our tour guide/ representative to looking for you as soon as possible.

Pease note that most of Halong bay trips are group tours, that means you will share the limousine transport with other guests to save your money but still feel comfortable. If you would like to get the private transfer, please contact us at anytime to get the deal.

Four of us retired people, I and my wife , my sister and her husband booked our Vietnam Trip through VIETNAM STORY (INDO CHINA TRAV GROUP).

When I first contacted them through google I was little skeptic . Because so many frauds are happpening nowadays . But after talking to Channy I got the confidence. She was extremely prompt and professional. She also guided me to design the best possible itinerary for a seven days trip covering all three main cities Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
For me, Da Nang was the best. Anyone visiting Vietnam must visit Da Nang . In terms of natural beauty I will give Vietnam 3.5 out of 5 .
But in-terms of behaviour, warmth, food , spa facility and cost of living I would rate Vietnam 4.8 out of 5.
And as a tour operator I would rank Indo China company 5 on 5 .
Channy and Tony are two gems of this company who were in touch through out the journey over WhatsApp and resolved any issue/ problem within few minutes. We were touched by their thoughtful welcome gift, special lunch on day one and their warm company.

Great experience from start to finish. Mya was very responsive and efficient as well as knowledgeable. Weather caused a change in plans but right away they came up with an alternate plan and off we went for a great day on our private tour of Ninh Binh. Thuy was a great guide and made sure we had a wonderful experience. A very nice lunch was included and they were careful to accommodate our food allergies. Overall a 10 out of 10 experience!
