DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong - Lan ha Bay (Lunch/ Dinner)

Morning

Lot 34, Tuan Chau Marina, about three hours from Hanoi, is where the Peony Cruise is scheduled to set sail at noon. The shuttle bus pick-up window is 6:30–7:00 in the morning.

Afternoon

After you check in, have a drink and get the safety briefing. Board a boat and set sail for Lan Ha Bay. As you dine, the boat sails past beautiful islands and islets. From the depths of the ocean, these breathtaking limestone karst formations emerge. Dark-Bright Cave, with its serene surroundings, is the initial stop. Take a swim or hire a local to row you a sampan boat around the bay.

Early evening

Return to boat, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. It’s time for Sunset Party. You can order some drinks from the bar to chill at the top deck or book a spa at the reception to refresh your body.

Evening

A gourmet meal is provided. Our fantastic onboard caterers will prepare and serve you tasty local cuisine. Enjoy a delicious dinner in a cozy, romantic atmosphere. As the sun goes down, take in the nighttime bay scenery from the upper deck. Sit back and relax with a drink from the bar. While you eat, try your hand at squid fishing at night. I spent the night on board.

Day 2: Day 2: Lan Ha Bay - Frog Pond - Hanoi (Breakfast/ Brunch)

Early morning: Wake up early to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lan Ha Bay at dawn. Have a light breakfast at the restaurant.
Morning: We progress to Frog Pond area of Lan Ha Bay. You may prefer to try your hand at kayaking or just relax on board with the outdoor jacuzzi pool.
9:30am: At 9:30, visitors check out the cabin and make any incurred payments. You will enjoy a delightful brunch while the ship cruises back. We bid farewell at Tuan Chau Marina, this is the end of the program. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

- Children under 5 years old sharing the full price cabin with adults: Free of charge (Limited to 1 child/1 cabin)
- From 2nd children: charged 50% adult (without extra bed)
From 5 to 10 years old: 01 Child stays in the double/twin cabin with 2 adults: charged 75% adult.
From 11 years old:
- Children from 11 years old will be charged as adults
- Two children below 11 years stay in a private cabin are charged at 100% of the full cabin rate.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
