When we plan Kiss Bridge, we treat it as a Sunset Town evening stop—not as a standalone reason to cross Phu Quoc in the middle of the day. The bridge works best when you already want sunset, dinner, a show or another South Phu Quoc activity nearby.

What makes Kiss Bridge different?
Kiss Bridge was designed by architect Marco Casamonti as two separate arms extending over the sea. Sun World’s current description says each arm is about 400 metres long and the two ends stop about 30 cm apart.
That gap is the whole visual idea: two people can stand on opposite sides and create the “kiss” silhouette without the two bridge ends physically touching. We would treat that as an architectural/photo feature, not as a reason to oversell the bridge as a life-changing attraction.
Kiss Bridge ticket price in 2026: official pages currently disagree
Sun World’s dated guide from 5 May 2026 lists the standard Kiss Bridge ticket at 200,000 VND for adults from 1.4 m and 150,000 VND for children from 1.0 m to under 1.4 m, with children under 1 m free.
However, older official Sun World pages that are still live show a different time-based structure, including lower prices before/after the main sunset window. Because both versions remain online, we would not use an old screenshot or blog table as the final amount.
How we budget it: use the newer 2026 published price as the safer planning figure, then check the official Sun World booking flow for your exact date before paying. Combo tickets can also include Kiss Bridge under different conditions.
Opening hours and show-related closures
Sun World guidance commonly lists Kiss Bridge around 07:00–23:00, but the two sides of the bridge can have different operating windows and sections may close temporarily around evening shows or safety operations.
This is why we do not build the whole evening around a generic “open until 10 PM” line. We check the live operating notice for the travel date, especially if the guest wants sunset plus Kiss of the Sea or another evening performance.
When should you arrive for sunset?
Sunset time shifts through the year, so we would never publish one permanent “golden hour” such as 5:00–6:30 PM for every month. Instead, check the actual sunset for your travel date and aim to reach Sunset Town about 45–60 minutes earlier.
That gives enough time to park or arrive by transfer, walk to the bridge, pass the ticket gate and choose a photo position before the strongest light. For seasonal weather context, use our Phu Quoc weather-by-month guide.
Photography: what we would actually plan
- Go before the busiest sunset minutes: easier for full-body and bridge-line photos.
- Expect wind: the bridge is exposed over the sea.
- Use a wider lens: useful when you want the bridge structure and Sunset Town in the same frame.
- Do not block the narrow photo points: other visitors are trying to use the same space.
- Have a backup angle: cloud can hide the sun even in a normally drier month.
Kiss Bridge and Kiss of the Sea are separate decisions
The multimedia Kiss of the Sea show is staged beside the bridge area, but we do not treat the bridge ticket and show ticket as automatically the same product. Sun World sells different packages and combos, and inclusions can change.
If the show matters, check the current show date, start time and whether your ticket includes bridge access. Do not assume a bridge-only ticket gives access to the show.
How Kiss Bridge fits a South Phu Quoc day
Kiss Bridge works best when another South Phu Quoc activity already brings you into the area.
- Hon Thom + Kiss Bridge: one of the cleanest combinations, but build the timing around the cable-car return window first.
- Bai Sao + Sunset Town: works when you want a beach-led afternoon followed by sunset/evening.
- Coconut Prison + south-island route: possible, but keep enough emotional/physical space between a serious historical site and a commercial evening attraction.
- North Phu Quoc + Kiss Bridge: we would not pair them by default; the cross-island transfer can dominate the day.

Who we would recommend Kiss Bridge to
We would include it for couples, honeymooners, photographers and families who already want a Sunset Town evening. It is less compelling when the group prefers quiet beaches, local-life experiences or has only a very short Phu Quoc stay.

How we make the final call
We choose Kiss Bridge when sunset and the South Phu Quoc evening already make sense together. We do not cross the island only to “check in” at the bridge, and we do not rely on a 2025 ticket table. Check the current Sun World booking page, arrive before the actual sunset time and let the bridge be one part of the evening rather than the whole trip.
