Booked 2, 2 day private tours and money was well spent. Private tours means you can where possible avoid crowds and gain entry and exit quicker. Hai and Lun who we had for both days were professional and very prompt. They also could read when our energy was getting low and adapted the tour to our needs. Also understood when to chat and not as we spent a few hours travel time in car. If you’re wanting to explore Hanoi and the outer areas of Hanoi spend the extra money and book through this company. Viator and other sites are good for quick trips but for longer trips use Indochina group who are very professional

We had the great pleasure of having Hai Nguyen as our guide on today’s Bai Dinh Pagoda–Trang An tour, organised by Indochina Travel Group, and he truly made the day special. Hai was a wonderful representative of the friendly and welcoming Vietnamese culture. From the very beginning, he was warm, friendly and professional, and he always took the time to accommodate our wishes and make sure we were comfortable. Day 1Ho Chi Minh Arrival

Timeline:

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh, the heart of Vietnam which is considered as a blend of traditional and modern beauties. At Tan Son Nhat Airport, your driver will welcome then take you to your hotel to check-in. (Check in time is 14h00).
Relaxing at hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 2Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint in tour

Timeline:

At 7h30 – 8h00: Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We will visit the following places of interest:
- Independence Palace(the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
- War Remnants Museumwhich has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
- Notre Dame Cathedral& Central Post Office the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
- Jade Emperor Pagodawith the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.
After a few hours discovering the city, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before we drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at Cu Chi.
- Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
- The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
- From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
- There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)
- Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.
We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3Mekong Delta full day tour (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint in tour

Timeline:

7h30 – 8h00: Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 2,5 hours to Cai Be. We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet. Here are some activities on the trip:
- Visit a flea market and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels of Mekong River.
- Have some fresh fruits and visit some local cottage industries (coconut candy workshop, snake wine, pop-rice, or rice paper)
- Visit an island named Tan Phong and a tropical fruit garden, listen to Vietnamese traditional music, and enjoy getting in touch with local life.
- Join a cooking demonstration and enjoy your wonderful lunch afterward.
- Take a cycling tour of about 30 minutes around the village -a fantastic way to experience local life.
Get back to the house, say goodbye to your hosts.
17h30 – 18h00: Arrive your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4Ho Chi Minh - Fly to Da Nang (Breakfast)

Timeline:

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Danang city.
Upon arrival to Danang, our tour guide will pick you up and transfer to the hotel to check in. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5Marble Mountains- Am Phu Cave - Monkey mountain (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint in tour

Timeline:

8h00: We’ll pick you up at hotel and tranfer to the tour.
8h30: Arrive in Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Danang.
9h00 – 10h30: Check in the Marble Mountains by climbing up to the top (elevator is optional). Here we will see beautiful pagodas which were built from 19th century by the last dynasty of Viet Nam monarchy, visit Huyen Khong and Tang Chon caves.
10h30 – 11h00: Keep going to see the biggest fascinated cave named as Am Phu. You will learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism and take photos with amazing natural creation.
11h00: Have lunch at the local restaurant with local and authentic Vietnamese cuisines.
11h45: Our van will transfer you to the next stop – Monkey Mountains. A giant statue Lady Buddha with beautiful background such as mountains and huge garden of bonsai would draw your attention. You will definitely get lost in the garden of heaven with gripping stories when gently walking and enjoy a fresh breeze.
13h00: Tour ends and we will head back to your hotel.

Day 6Ba Na Hills- Golden Bridge (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint in tour

Timeline:

9h00: Be picked up at hotel in Da Nang. Transfer to Ba Na Hills (35km) and take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na Hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French, the Golden Bridge… Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Ninh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garden… Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours).
15h00: Back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7Da Nang - Fly to Hanoi (Breakfast)

Day 8Hanoi City Tour (Breakfast/Lunch) - Joint in tour

Timeline:

8h15 – 8h30: Meet your tour guide at your suggested places around Hanoi Old Quarter including:
- Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.
- Ho Chi Minh complex, the final resting place of Viet Nam’s greatest father; his house-on-stilt and One pillar pagoda – modeled after a lotus flower, a symbol of Hanoi.
- Temple of Literatureconstructed in 1070 dedicating to Confucius, sages, and scholars. It was also the first university of Viet Nam once.
12h30: In the afternoon, spend the time to explore:
- The traditional ceramics village of Bat Trang. Visit showrooms and see how they model the products.
- Ngoc Son Templededicated to Tran Hung Dao – General Commander for his struggle against Mongolians.

08:15 – 08:45: Hotel or private address pick up with our shuttle bus. Short break half way.
11:45 – 12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of La Pandora cruises.
12:45 – 13:00: Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction.
13:00 – 13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit.
16:00: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Bay.
17:30: Back to La Pandora Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy cooking demonstration (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) and the complimentary Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.
19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retiring to your cabin or join the fishing excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight on board.

06:30: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served.
07:15: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.
09:15: Back to our La Pandora Cruise, relax before checking out.
10:00: Lunch is served on board.
11h35: We return to the quayside in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark in Tuan Chau Marina. And leave for Ha Noi on our shuttle. Transfer to the airport to take flight back home. Trip ends

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have a minimum age requirement of 18 years old to join the tour. Group members aged 16-17 years old are welcome to join the tour but only with a family member that will act as their guardian whilst on tour. Aside from that, no age requirements at all!
