DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival - Half Day City Tour With Train Street And Water Puppet Show (B)

Timeline

  • Upon the arrival, you are met at the Noi Bai airport and transferred to the hotel by our driver (early check in is included) and then transfer you to hotel. Relaxing at hotel!
  • 14h00: Our Tour guide and our driver pick up at your hotel and start to Hanoi city tour.
  • 14h15: Visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam. The Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam) is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Northern Vietnam. The Temple of Literature was founded in 1070.
  • 15h15: Keep going to visit Hoa Lo Prison. The prison was built by the French, from 1886 to 1901. When Vietnam was still a part of French Indochina. The French called the prison Maison Centrale. The prison was called “A Hell on Earth” and now the prison is like a war museum for those who want to understand more about the war against France of Vietnamese people.
  • 16h30: Transfer to train street to enjoy egg coffee. End of the day with amazing water puppet show.
  • Back to hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Overnight On Cruise - Sung Sot Cave - Ti Top Island (B/L/D) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

  • 7h45 – 08h30: You will be picked up from your hotel. Then we will head to Ha Long Bay. You may enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta along the way.
  • 11h30: Upon arriving in our lobby in Tuan Chau Marina, you may take a short stretch while our staff arranges all registration with the local government.
  • 12h00 – 12h30: The cruise captain and staff will welcome you onboard after a short tender transfer. While enjoying a refreshing welcome drink, a short cruise briefing and safety instructions will be given.
  • 12h30 – 13h00: The cruise voyages to Ha Long Bay – one of the New Seven Nature Wonders of the World. Lunch is served on board while the cruise passes via amazing limestone karst formations that rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner.
  • 14h00 – 14h30: You will leave the cruise to explore Sung Sot Cave (also known as Surprise/ Amazing Cave), one of the biggest and most beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay.
  • 15h00: Returning to cruise, the trip will continue to Ti Top Island. Here, you can watch the magnificent view over either the Gulf of Tonkin or swim in the emerald green and cool water.
  • 17h00: After a long day, this is the ideal time to enjoy energizing drinks and snacks by joining ‘Happy Hour’ or Cooking Class on the sundeck
  • 19h30: Sumptuous dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff.
  • 20h30: After dinner, various activities including karaoke, and squid fishing are organized or you can just laze around with exhilarating drinks from our bar. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure. Overnight on cruise.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Flight To Danang (B/Br)

Timeline

  • 6h15 – 7h00: Breakfast is served. It can be a great idea to enjoy the meal with the magnificent view of the sunrise in Ha Long Bay.
  • 8h00 – 9h30: The cruise gets closer to the center of the Natural Preservation Area. Join our guide on a short trip to Luon Cave. This magic work of nature shows you the formation of karst mountains. You can discover this time masterpiece by kayaking on your own. If you are lucky, you can catch great photos with mischievous monkeys jigging up and down around the cliffs.
  • 9h30: Our staffs on Cruise welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out.
  • 10h00: Whilst cruising back, delightful lunch will be served.
  • 11h35: We return to the quayside in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark in Tuan Chau Marina. And leave for Ha Noi on our shuttle. Transfer to the airport to take flight to Danang.

    • While there, Linh Ung pagoda – home to the tallest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Southeast Asia will be one of your unforgettable memory. The 67-meter tall statue is located on top of a lotus-shaped platform and features 21 miniature Buddha sculptures.

  • 14h15: Then Hoi An Ancient Town welcomes you to visit Phuc Kien PagodaPhung Hung ancient housethe Japanese BridgeMuseum, shoping at Hoi An Central Market,… Walk around the historic old town and be amazed by the influences from China, Japan, and Vietnam.
  • 18h00: Enjoy your time with the boat ride on Hoai River and release the flower lanterns to pray for good luck for you and your family. You will immerse yourself in the fanciful space of the lantern street.

    • Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour. Buffet lunch will be severed at the restaurant.
    • In the afternoon, you will be free for joining games in Fantasy Park – the third biggest indoor games zone in Vietnam with series of interesting games: 4 – 5D film, skiver, The death race, dinosaur park… (2 hours).

Day 6: Cu Chi Tunnels - Mekong Delta (B/L) - Joint In Tour

Timeline

  • 6h45 – 7h00: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at hotel for Cu Chi tunnels. It will require approximately one and a half hours to travel to Cu Chi by bus.
    • Prior to visiting the tunnels, you will be required to view an introductory video that provides a detailed explanation of the tunnels construction and the methods by which the Vietnamese people managed to endure the severe conditions of war.
    • Subsequently, devote time to investigating the tunnel system and remaining areas, which boast unique living quarters with kitchens and bedrooms, as well as other military facilities such as weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers, which assist those residing within the tunnels in obtaining their fundamental necessities.
    • Additionally, there are numerous concealed trap doors and hazardous traps embedded in the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the conflict. Afterward, a unique tea and cassava, which was the staple diet of guerrillas during the conflict, will be served.
  • Lunch at the neighborhood eatery.

Mekong Delta

  • Continually visit the city of My Tho. The natural beauty of four beautiful islands, including Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise, along the riverside, will captivate you during a boat journey on the Tien River. Day 8: Angkor Wat Full Day Sightseeing (B/L) - Join In Tour

Timeline

  • In the morning, our tour guide and driver will come to pick you up to transfer to Angkor Thom that was the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Following the occupation of Angkor by the Chams from 1177 to 1181, the new king decided to build an impregnable fortress at the heart of his empire.
  • We begin to visit Bayon Temple with many other relics which offer a great chance to observe ancient sculptures.
  • Continue to visit Terrace of the Leper King. This intricately carved platform was the royal crematorium and the statue that was originally thought to be the leper king is now believed to be Yama, the god of death.
  • Afterward, we will pay a visit to the Terrace of Elephants with 300 meters long through the core of Angkor Thom.
  • Then, visit Ta Prohm “Tomb Raider” fame. Ta Prohm has been abandoned to the elements, a reminder that while empires rise and fall, the riotous power of nature marches on, oblivious to the dramas of human history. Left as it was ‘discovered’ by French explorer Henri Mouhout in 1860, the tentacle-like tree roots here are slowly strangling the surviving stones, man first conquering nature to create, nature later conquering man to destroy.

Sieam Reap

  • We journey out to the Mother of all templesAngkor Wat – the most famous and largest temple complex in Cambodia and in the world as well. The complex is considered the architectural masterpiece thanks to its perfection in composition, balance, proportions, relief, and sculpture.
  • Back to the hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Kulen Mountain - Water Fall (B/L) - Join In Tour

Timeline

  • Discover the holy grounds of Phnom Kulen, with its waterfall, giant reclining Buddha, and river-bed carvings. We begin the tour by venturing the beaten path, followed by an awe inspiring drive up the mountain, where we will explore the abundant greenery and Kulen Waterfall, Kulen Mountain.
  • Take a dip if you like, or just sit back and watch the locals enjoy their sacred land. Make your way up to the River of a Thousand Lingas, a beautiful river with sophisticated carvings covering its floor. Get a blessing the Cambodian way with Holy Water from this sacred river.
